LRG-Custom-Hayabusa.jpgWow, we’re seriously impressed with CSC's Hayabusa. One of the first 2008 models to be customized, the job was fully sanctioned by Suzuki in collaboration with fashion company L-R-G. Our favorite part is the GSX-R 1000 tailpiece, which really lightens the look of the whole bike. It’s helped by the GP-style exhaust and single-sided swingarm, not to mention the Lexan wheels.

We admire the company's commitment to the white theme, even the frame and fork stanchions are pigment free. But we can’t help but feel that it would have looked a bit better if they’d chosen a single color for the mechanical components and stuck with that. The mixture of white, gold, black and silver is a bit much, as is the spearmint green accent color. CSC would have done better leaving it off the seat and turn signals. We hope Suzuki takes a few lessons from this bike for the new Hayabusa’s mid-life facelift, especially at the back end.

BMW Motorrad has manufactured the 1,000 cc “S 1000 RR” to contend in the 2009 Superbike World Championship.

The BMW will only produce 1000 production models in 2009. This Superbike is targeted to weigh 419lbs and produce 190 bhp. The S1000RR will probably not reach dealers until 2010. Have not heard any price related information about this bike.

Can Yamaha bring back the two stroke motorcycle? The new “sportbike” is supposed to be fairly light weight (around 320 lbs) and produce about 75 horsepower to the back wheel. Power to weight ratio will make this bike run with the 600 series sportbikes.

The 36 Sixty-One is the one collectors and riders alike dream about owning. It is said development started in 1933 at the height of the depression. Bill Harley gambled everything on this model, and he was right. When it was released to the dealers and finally got into the hands of riders, his vision of a stylish performance motorcycle came to fruition.

It is one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made and very few examples survive today. It is a keystone model in the history of Harley-Davidson, and sought after by riders and collectors alike.

With the exception of some bolts and the wiring, all genuine 1936 parts were used. Correct date codes and matching belly numbers, original and perfect. Don’t let this one get away.

Other than some minor tweaks here and there - can’t say we see a big difference between the 2008 and 2009 Yamaha R1.1 extra mm of bore, .05 gallons larger gas tank, and they shaved a whole .1 inch off the seat height. You’ll see some minor body work changes on the new R1. New exhaust look- slightly better performance over last years model. Another great liter bike from Yamaha.
